Burgers & Beer – Event Branding & Marketing

Burgers & Beer was a San Diego food and beverage festival held at Golden Hill Park, bringing together local burger restaurants and breweries for an outdoor tasting experience. The event was designed around two of San Diego’s favorite things—great burgers and craft beer—with attendees able to explore offerings from a variety of local vendors in one location.

I developed the event logo and overall visual identity, creating a look that was bold, casual, and approachable while capturing the fun atmosphere of a summer food festival. From the initial branding, I carried the visual direction into the event’s promotional campaign and marketing materials.

I created print advertisements, promotional posters, digital advertising, social media graphics, and event materials used to promote the event and communicate information to attendees and participating vendors. The creative needed to work across multiple formats while remaining recognizable and consistent as the event built awareness.

The project combined event branding, advertising, illustration, and promotional design to create a cohesive identity for a new San Diego food festival and give the event its own recognizable personality.
